Can I rent the whole building?

Yes, there is a Piano Bar
What is the deposit and when is it due?
The deposit is 50% of your proposal total and refundable damage deposit. It is due the same time as the signing of contract.
How early can we set up for our event?
You can set up as early as 7am for your event, or by arrangement the day before when available. Please contact one of our Event Coordinators at 919-964-8038 to arrange for a tour and to discuss your needs.
Do you allow outside catering?
We can cater your event for you. If you prefer you can choose your own caterer and we will be happy to communicate with them and give them the specifications of our on-site kitchen facility.
Do you provide bartending services?
Some of our packages include full access to a well-equipped bar as well as bartending services.
Weekday specials?
We are more than happy to offer a weekday special for your event Monday-Thursday. Prices may be negotiated.
Military discount?
We appreciate the service of all the brave men and women dedicated to military service and offer 5% off event packages to our service members.
Is my event date available?
All booked event center dates are posted on our Events Calendar. Click the events tab.
But, please contact us as soon as possible to let our coordinators know the date that you are interested in so we can check availability. We will check our calendars and get your special day reserved right away.
How many people does your venue hold?

We can accommodate guests ranging anywhere up to 250 guests. With our flexible seating arrangements and various props, we can create an intimate setting for 10 or accommodate a larger crowd of up to 50% maximum seating with tables 6 ft. apart per state mandate.

How many guests at each table?

Our round and banquet tables can accommodate up to 10 guests comfortably. During this period of Covid, only 4 guests per table are allowed unless all are from the same family.

Are there any time restrictions?
We are an indoor venue so there are no time restrictions. Our event packages include 10 hours of venue use time. We generally recommend 2:00 pm-Midnight, however, all Covid Mandates must be followed
How do you do the ceremony and reception in the same space?
No, we can’t accommodate both.

 

Can we hold a small event such as a meeting or small group?
Yes, we’re able to easily accommodate a smaller group for a meeting, seminar, or class. Please call one of our Event Coordinators for details: 919-964-8038.

 

Who is responsible for the cleanup after an event?
We ask that the clients pick up after themselves, and we provide recycling bins and garbage cans for this purpose. Our team will break down the tables and chairs after your event, and general cleaning is done by our cleaning team.

 

Do you have someone that can help us with the floor plan layout for our event?
Our Coordinator will help you decide upon an ideal floor plan that works for your specific event’s needs and the crowd. We have assorted sample layouts and event suggestions we will share with you that have worked successfully for other events at our center.

 

Do you have a sound system?
Yes, we have a full sound system and microphones for your use. Please inquire when you visit.

Do you have wireless Internet?
We have very fast, fiber optic wireless Internet with speeds of 100 Mbps.  It has the capabilities of streaming your live event worldwide from The Tru Event Center.
Do you have a list of preferred vendors?
Yes, we have a preferred vendors list. Please ask about this during your consultation with one of our Event Coordinators.
Is a rehearsal included with the wedding package ?
Yes, a wedding rehearsal is included with your wedding package at the Tru Event Center.
